Therapeutic Massage

Whether you want to decompress after a stressful week or enhance performance, recover or prevent injury, our nurturing therapists can identify muscular issues, pain and restrictions. Relax while we work to decrease your pain, increase range of motion and restore structural balance so you can be the best version of you. A customized treatment plan is created after reviewing the health intake form and short assessment of the client.

Relaxation Massage: Swedish relaxation massage involves effleurage (light strokes to warm the muscles), tapotement (rhythmic tapping to engage the nervous system and release lymphatic build-up), petrissage (kneading and rolling), and light stretching requiring no effort from the client other than to relax and melt into the table. This massage relieves tension and promotes an overall sense of well-being with the level of pressure preferred by the client.

Clinical Massage: Release and dissolve muscle tension and discomfort, increase mobility and restore overall structural alignment. Therapists utilize specific techniques such as Myofascial Release, trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage to slowly work the deep layers of the structures. Clinical + Sports Massage eases and manages pain caused by strenuous workouts/sore muscles, injuries, fibromyalgia, scar tissue, headaches, migraines, sinus pressure, etc., and promotes a speedy recovery from injuries and illness.

Dry Body Brushing: Skip the coffee and sugar and energize your body naturally! This sugar and water-free treatment exfoliates dry skin, helps detox the lymph, improves circulation + reduces cellulite. Your skin then drinks up the coconut and essential oil nourishing your skin.

Reiki (RAY-Key): The effects of unreleased stress range from minor aches to major health concerns, such as heart disease, digestive disorders, respiratory and skin problems. Reiki is an energy healing technique utilizing very light touch. It aids the body in releasing stress and tension by creating deep relaxation. Because of this, Reiki promotes healing and health. This technique can assist in relieving or reducing pain and discomfort by balancing the body’s energy centers, more commonly known as the chakras. Whether awake or napping, Reiki works for the person’s highest good – tranquilizing, calming + centering.

Reflexology: A non-invasive complementary practice involving the use of alternating pressure applied to reflexes within reflex maps of the body located on the feet, (hands and outer ears). During a reflexology session, clients keep their clothes on, only removing shoes and socks.

Chair Massage: 15, 20 or 30-minutes of massage that focuses on the high tension areas of the head, neck, back, shoulders, arms and hands. The massage is performed on an ergonomically designed portable massage chair. You sit on the chair facing forward, with your head in a face rest. You don’t remove any clothing. Chair massage produces therapeutic results quickly by concentrating on the areas of greatest tension. You’ll be amazed how 15 minutes will revive and relax you!
